The UAA Department of Music is hosting its annual “Symphony of Sounds” concert fundraiser, an event that showcases its top student talent and musical ensembles. The program will include performers representing each area of specialty in the department, from classical instrumental soloists (piano, strings, voice, guitar, and winds), to jazz, and selections from the current popular music repertoire. In addition to its talented soloists, the department will also feature music from its jazz ensemble, guitar ensemble, early music ensemble, chamber music and vocal ensembles, and an exciting finale involving multiple groups and performers. Those in attendance will be treated to hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks at intermission. Make this your evening out! Proceeds from the concert will support UAA Music Department programs and scholarships. Although some tickets may be available at the door on the evening of the concert, advance purchase at UAATix.com is strongly encouraged; this very popular event is one night only.
